Karmaracer’s concept is to help children, parents, and communities by teaching the disciplines of cycling.  Also to give bicycles away to the less fortunate who cannot afford them. In all finality, it is to sustain a great hobby of cycling to continue being healthy individuals.

We would teach children and adults how to take care of their equipment.  Examples of the maintenance would be: changing a tire, adjusting breaks, correct sizing for each individual. using proper safety equipment, etc.  Boy Scouts, Boys and Girls Club, large and small businesses would be some of the groups that we could educate in cycling and upkeep.  Communities are also candidates for learning.  Having group settings at park districts would involve so many people to become more interested in bicycles and the benefits of cycling.

A number of group rides would be planned for people who want to belong to a team or join a healthy hobby.  A monthly ride or weekly rides are available.  If the members decide they want to dedicate themselves to this lifestyle they can compete in races.  Schedules can be obtained for the group rides and once the athlete wants to progress; we can supply a schedule for that competition’s season.

In order to facilitate our services, there are a few things we need.  Donations of old and used bicycles, equipment (helmets, shorts, cycling equipment, etc.), and gifts of money would be considered necessary to maintain equipment and to purchase safety gear.  Lastly we may have to include a collection day for salvaged or recycled bicycles and parts.
